In Memoriam

It is with profound sadness that we lay Pansy to rest today (June 2 2025.
After a couple of days of deteriorating health, I took her to the emergency Vet. With x-rays and blood tests, they found her afflicted with extreme arthritis, a massive cancerous infected tumor around her spleen and liver, and severally anemic. The Vet said she was surprised she was still functioning and maybe had 2 more weeks left.
Pansy passed in my arms painless and at peace.
She left an impact of my psyche, and the rest of community knew.
The dogs attended the burial as they know death. Interestingly, it was Marshal the pup that provided the most comfort, but they all knew what happened.
It never gets easier.
R.I.P. Pansy, you will be missed. She crossed the rainbow bridge a warrior.
